Travel agents help their clients plan their travel arrangements. This often includes finding the best prices and dates as well as making airline and hotel reservations. They may also locate and reserve car rentals and tours.

Travel agents spend most of their days working at a desk, answering phone calls, and speaking with clients.

 

They can work for a company or may be self-employed. Many travel agents, especially those that are self-employed work long hours.
